This feels like quality wiring, and comes in a 30ft length with black and red connected which is very convenient for solar panel wiring needs. I will be using this to connect a small solar array to the water pump that provides my garden with water from 4x 55 gallon rain barrels.Great product, recommended.

Main thing to report with regard to wire from an unknown or lesser known brand is whether or not it's real copper or copper clad aluminum pretending to be copper. This is real copper, luckily. What else is there to say? There are no kinks, though it's loose coiled wire rather than on a spindle or roll or anything. The insulation looks and feels pretty durable. It's flexible enough for non-silicone insulated wire; no complaints there. The conductor fits in an Anderson Powerpole 45a contact and the insulation fits in the Powerpole housing, which is really nice.I'd have no problem ordering again if it was still at a good price.

Update: I have used these as a temporary solution on a portable power box with a small 200w foldable solar panel while I build my more permanent solar array. I have the panel sitting in my back yard and the cables laying in the grass and into my house. After only about a week of being outside in the sun, the red cable has faded to a pink color from exposure to the sun. so these do not have any type of UV treatment in the jacket of the cable. These are not designed for long term outdoor use.Original Review:I got these 30’ rolls of 10AWG Solar Cable (1 x Red and 1 x Black) to have on hand for my solar array that im building in my backyard. The arrays that im designing are about 500V and 20A so I needed at least 10AWG to handle the current load. When I opened this product up, it looked a bit “off”. The cables looked and felt smaller than my other 10AWG cables that I own. When I measured the actual conductor diameter, it falls in the 10AWG specification. The insulation is much thinner than my other wires though. For this reason, im going to save this cable for some of my smaller systems that wont carry as high of a capacity.I was impressed at the core though. Each strand is solid copper and has been tinned for anti-corrosion properties. I just wish the manufacturer would have used a thicker jacket.

I’ve been needing to extend my extension for my portable solar panels which is how ai came across this. I already had a pack of connectors and installed them on the cable. The power loss is very minimal due to the length of this cord and feels like it can handle being outside during storms without any issues.

Good value for the money. It's a quality wire and preforms perfectly. The red and black 10 guage wire are separate, hermal resistance yet to be determined.

This is some good quality wire. I didn't order it for anything in particular, but I like keeping extra wire on hand in case I need it, so I haven't used it yet, but it is indeed copper, and the roll is what you'd expect.

Ten gauge solid copper is the lowest resistance wire that still fits into the "MC4 type" solar connectors commonly sold. (There are connectors that work with larger, lower resistance 8 gauge connectors but those are a bit harder to find and significantly more expensive). This is the wire I needed for for my latest solar installation and it's perfect for it.
