Works great. Installed no problem. No sketchy drivers. Just worked. Had to modify my PC because I had no more room for this, but some kapton tape and a Dremel later I had my hole cut and this thing poking out of the front; screwed in and recognized by the PC.Connection is easy!Buying here was cheaper than ebay!Checking network settings after a windows update showed it at 10gbe for network speed.

At first this seemed like an odd solution to add 10G networking to my NAS, until I learned that M.2 is effectively just a different form factor of PCIe. This NIC is a life saver for a small form factor NAS or a PC where all the PCIe slots are taken up. I installed it in my TrueNAS and it was detected and started working with no additional config needed, and is so far running stable at 10G speeds. The braided cable between the M.2 card and the NIC card is a nice touch.

First install didn't realize I needed to power the card. Seller reached out and provided me with this vital missing information. So 1 Sata connector for power needs to go to the PCIe sloted card. That did the trick! X520-1 Intel detected running 10Gb.
