This chicken shredder can be faster and easier in shredding chicken (or pork, etc.) when compared to the more typical two forks method. It takes less muscle and it works well, producing relatively even-sized chunks of chicken. You do get better results if you cut up the meat into manageable pieces rather then starting with a full size chicken breast. You also need to push some of the pieces more toward the center, as the side doesn’t seem to grasp the chicken as well, leaving larger chunks instead of shredded pieces. The included brush is helpful in pre-cleaning the device, whether you’re hand washing or dishwashing this, so a nice bonus to have.

This really does work. It shreds meat easily. The twist motion is smooth and glide easily. Plastic thick and sturdy. Spikes are sturdy too, doesn't look like it will break easy. Very easy to use. Not too hard to clean. Sure help speed up shredding chicken breast, especially when it's hot.
