The strainer holder is very sturdy and even. The oil filters that came with the holder are really good quality. I used several filters already and none of which leaked or seams came undone due to the weight and pressure of the oil. Very good product for the price.

This works well, only problem is that the wire handles don’t stay on. I could probably pinch them with a pliers but still a gripe.

Does not fit a 5 gallon bucket, has to be rigged to stay in place. Filters do not stay in the holder at all, also have to be rigged. The gaps in the wires allow the filter to slip right past and fall into the the bucket. I’d rather pay the $10.00 per gallon of oil and throw it out after each use than jack around with this piece of crap. 10/10 would not recommend.

Took a while to arrive. No instructions which is a pet peeve of mine. Used it once and worked ok.

The filter stand is exactly as described; it is sturdy and the arms fold and/or can be removed to make it more compact for storage. Please note that this stand is a larger version of a small kitchen cooking oil filter; it is for 10 inch cone filters and works great for larger quantities of whatever you will be filtering, in my case fryer oil. (I only make this point because I read a review where a buyer was complaining about how big this was and did not fit in their kitchen cabinets.) The only reason I did give this a 5 is because it does not include any filters to get the user going as soon as it is received; it makes a potential new use per to commit to buying cone filters before they have tried using this setup…including even a couple of filter cones would entice a buyer.I do recommend this product and expect to use it for a long time.

Deep fryers / turkey fryers produce fantastic tasting food! But, they can be miserable to clean up. This filter holder helps make that process easier, cleaner, and safer, by holding the filter cone securely above the receiving container, freeing up both your hands to manage pouring the oil.
