Silicone mounting brackets are used for LED strip light to ensure long term fixing, especially on rough saw timbers or concrete.
Simply use two small screws (one on each side) for hardware. They are holding up the LED strips well thanks to soft/pliable material, so they will not damage the strip.
Bracket never split or broke as well as each one worked very well. The translucence silicone is practically invisible, the design gives it hidden look while not obstructing light from the strip. Moreover, it is also recommended to place this silicone bracket in and between two LED chips. Specification
Hollow height: 4mm/0.16inch Application Used for LED strip light to ensure long term fixing. Package Include 10*Silicone mounting bracket

These are very flimsy and the holes are quite small. Every chance I tried to screw into them they tore due to the silicone material. They would be fine if they came with screws or you knew exactly where and how to use them. I ended up going with a hard plastic mount days later as they didn't meet my needs of attaching 5050 LEDS to the underside of my bed.

Sized improperly, expensive for what you get, doesn't include hardware which is really annoying, difficult to mount in tight places as they keep moving around, and overall ineffective at holding the light strips in place as the holes stretch over your screws and let the LEDs drop. If you're looking for something like this, a hard plastic (with hardware) would be a far superior solution, but these things are absolutely worthless..

Arrived on time. Correct number of items I ordered were in the packaging. The clips were used with a strand of weatherproof led lightstrip and they are great. The soft silicone allowed me to mount the strips to the underside of the deck railing I was installing the lights on nicely. Only complaint is that they are slightly larger than the light strips but since they are silicone, this was a simple fix by stretching them a little bit before attaching. All in all, great investment!

Thank you TORCHSTAR. These brackets are perfect to secure my LED light strips onto wooden backing runner boards. The runner boards are placed on top of the two rows of kitchen cabinets with the LEDs pointing up. Once wired into the under-cabinet, counter top lighting circuits, the LEDs provide indirect valance lighting. Very nice ambience effect. Thank you for providing a good method of securing the light strips without damaging their integrity! Well done!

Very good mounts for SMD LEDs on a ribbon. I used them for a double row of SMD 5050 LEDs under the upper cabinets in the kitchen. The 0.5 inch width was a bit small for the double row ribbon but because they are made of silicone, they stretched into place and hold the ribbon nicely.

It says for LED strips, and means it. These worked perfectly for the job, and I love the fact they don't pinch the weatherproof coating on the strips I buy. I'll be buying more as I buy more strips for future projects.Tips for users:Get 2 packs for one 5m strip, or 3 packs for 2 strips.Use standard solid plastic brackets for the power cable, if you're wanting to secure it.Use nails/tacks with a large enough head and length appropriate to the situation. I generally wouldn't bother with screws unless you're looking for some really heavy duty use.- Test head size by trying to pull the nail/tack through the hole before attaching to the wall.- Unless you're hanging heavy things from the strand, or expecting people/children to yank on the strand, pushpins are long enough.Pull the bracket wide to hold the strip to the surface (wall, ceiling, etc.), or use the standard width if you want some flexibility.

I was putting up some LED ribbon tape lights in a drop ceiling and needed to figure a way to anchor them to the inside panels of wood. The sticky back on most of the LED lights are crap and I did not want to have to take stuff apart to fix sagging ribbon lights all the time so I got these little goodies. They work great. If you have to mount them right over a LED light bulb they will not cover up the light. It still shines through. Of course if you can avoid doing that all the better. The shipping was more than the product, but still worth it for my project.
