These aren't exactly what I expected. I guess they had to be solid on the top for the electronics. The lights are bright though but the bell sound isn't really. More like a jangle and not so much a jingle. Considering changing those out for brass ones but who knows. For the whole set of them, seems like a good deal and they do feel solidly built. I think they are probably meant for children for some type of game or something, camp trip maybe who knows. I'd recommend them though, assuming you have the need for a dozen RGB tambourines...
