I purchased this 10 pack of shrimp lure fishing rigs with string hooks and glow fishing beads. I’ve used them several times now on a few different fishing trips and have to say they are great! The high carbon hooks are sharp and strong and I love that the rigs are pre-tied. It makes fishing a lot easier and more efficient. It doesn’t hurt that they are very reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend these fishing rigs.

I used it to take live bait.You can catch fish just by swinging the rod up and down, but you can catch fish even better by attaching a small slice of the following to the end of the hook.It is also recommended to use a Sabiki basket with a weight.

This shrimp sabiki lure is a game-changer! It's like having a bait buffet on a string. The multiple hooks make it a total fish magnet, hauling in baitfish left and right. And let me tell you, it's sturdy as heck – I've snagged up to 4 mackerels with this thing at Santa Cruz pier, and it's still holding strong.

I go through plenty of sabiki rigs each season catching herring, anchovies and jacksmelt for halibut and rock fishing. I've paid anywhere from 3-6 bucks a rig, and they all seem to do a consistent job.For the price, you're getting excellent value, the hooks are sharp, and the fish skin has an iridescent shine that attracts bait fish. I used one rig all day long and caught a bunch of bait over and over again. The hooks didn't bend or rust easily, like I expected them to in the salt.I do recommend purchasing or making a sabiki rod so that the mini hooks aren't exposed, allowing them to catch onto any and everything. If you're looking for sabiki rigs, you should pick these up!

These lures are made well and have interesting shiny, glowing shrimp interspersed along a U line. The shrimp have small hooks, which appear to be stainless steel. All of the knots are sturdy, and the two rig attachments also appear to be stainless steel. The issue is that there is not enough weight to keep the shrimp from getting tangled with one another, even if you spread out the connecting points. My attempted solution is to put clamp on weights on the line in between the shrimp. I haven't had a chance to try it, but I'm not especially hopeful. I do think fish will find the lure interesting, especially at dawn on the beach, where it should sparkle plenty. If it ends up getting tangled in the current configuration, I'll disassemble it and use the lures individually for smaller bait fish.Four Star Shrimp Lures

I've bought other fishing products from OCEAN CAT before and have always been pleased with the quality and performance. I use up a lot of sabiki rigs and this 10 pack of the #6 hook white feather (rig style 3) is a good deal. These are indistinguishable from other name brand rigs I've purchased that cost much more. The #6 hook allows me to catch slightly larger bait which hopefully leads to catching bigger fish. The mainline on these is 20 lb test with the branch line being 12.5 lb which is more than adequate to catch any type of bait in our fishery.Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of these and am looking forward to using them soon.

These are great baits. I've used similar lures and paid 2-5x the price of these. The hooks are sharp out of the box. Easy to tie to your rig without disconnecting from the package and having a long bait to deal with. The color is great for the area of the Chesapeake I fish. Great baits and a Great price!!
