These are handy for lowering the can lighting rings to access and change the bulb. These wires are sturdy, and do the job fine.

If you're here looking at these you're on a familiar weird situation. Who loses the installation clips for a recessed light that should in theory rarely to never be removed? And if you're not one of those people you're asking what kind of person needs these, and 8-9 spares?! Well these are for you! And me! And my HVAC people if they knew what they did to me.My HVAC company knocked a can light out when they were moving the old/new air handler and ladder around the utility cabinet, and then vacuumed or otherwise confused the part as trash and lost one clip. Being the upstanding people they were, they shoved the light back in to place on one clip and hid their great work for a few hours, until gravity.So like you, I'm here looking at many options for light clips and settled on these for their value, and am not disappointed. They are plenty torsion enough to clamp a 6" can in, long enough to work with, and fit right on. They're springs, this isn't hard, and these are the right value for how many you get.
