I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of this leather lace. It's genuine full grain cowhide and comes in a generous 10-yard length, just as described in the store. I’ve used it for various craft projects, it works beautifully for making bracelets, necklaces, and even as a sturdy yet stylish hanger for a clay wall art piece I received. I wanted something strong but also visually appealing, and this leather was on point. The dark brown color is elegant, and it blends well with many materials. Very pleased with this leather lacing. Good thickness, feel and appropriately supple. The metal lacing needle is sweet - the inside is threaded so the lacing can just be twisted and pushed into the end of the needle and the threads securely grasp onto the leather - quick and efficient.

I'm using this raw edge leather cord to hang hand crafted polymer clay pendants from. It is a nice, soft, tanned natural leather and would work great as laces or for any craft project.

There are very high quality feeling leather strips. I purchased them for crafts (wrapping handles, replacing shoestrings, etc.) and I'm glad that I did. They are sturdy and strong and have a genuine leather feel (confirming they are as advertised). I appreciate the inclusion of a threading tool, as it will make replacing shoestrings much easier.

I ordered the "10 Yards Flat Genuine Leather Laces, Leather Strips Cord, Full Grain Cowhide Straps String for Braided, Braiding, Shoes, Jewelry Making and Craft (4MM_Dark Brown_1 Lacing Needle)."First, as someone who is surrounded by cowboy boots, leather saddles, and leather jackets, I absolutely believe these laces are actual leather. They look, feel, and smell like natural hide leather. There is no plastic smell that you get from "vegan" leather. There is the slight smell of tanned leather though.There is a very slight give to genuine leather. "Vegan" leather has way more stretch.These laces also have the rough side and the smooth side typical of full grain leather. The smooth side is the outer layer of the hide.These thin leather strips are also supple, so you can make key chains, hat bands, or bracelets without issues. Also, because these laces have a rough side, it helps keep the weaving tight. I suggest using waxed threads to secure the braiding when you're done.

I’m honestly not sure what I’ll do with these yet, but I’m a sucker for genuine leather and thought this was a reasonable price to add a new material to my kid’s crafting collection, as he’s been really into making things including wearables. These are actually provided in two long laces and not one continuous lace. I was delighted to find that this has that wonderful feel of genuine leather. The strips feel thick, strong, and high quality. Be aware, though, that the pictured crafts they seem to suggest you could make with these are just stock photos and not actually using these cords, most of them using much thinner cords. Braided, these would make a rather thick bracelet. These would also make rather thick shoelaces that I’d have a hard time imagining would stay tied tightly. In any case, I’m impressed with the quality for this price and look forward to finding creative ways to use them.
