These are very handy as a reset-able circuit breakers that doubles as a convenient off/on switches. I tested these with a multimeter and they do break contact when tripped. Resetting is easy. However I haven't been able to verify the 100A and 48V ratings because these exceed my rig.As for the claim to be waterproof, I'd call them splash proof. Seen from the back, there are multiple metal spots -- 4 certainly carry current and 4 just hold the plastic together. The back has raised feet that allows dust and water behind the breaker. I also see nothing that is designed to resist corrosion from salt water.For my indoor purposes (solar panels to charge controller to batteries to inverter), these should be just fine. But for marine use, I suspect they'd benefit from extra protection from the elements.
