When I get a cold, I try to stay away from sugar! The hard part is, I love the ice sickle on my throat when my throat hurts. It's a little bit of a tug of war usually and now I can make my own! I can make my own flavors and make sure that they are sugar-free. I use all natural juices and some water and it turns out perfectly. I don't have to deal with the store-bought sticky sugary mixes that are used in those with artificial dyes. I can do something more all natural and it tastes just great. He's a held up pretty well through the cold and flu season and I will continue using them throughout the summer as well!

The ice pops bags were far thinner than was expecting (much thinner than the plastic that you find on products like Flavor-Ice and Otter Pops). The funnel which is advertised as silicone felt like plastic. It was not soft like all other silicone products I have but was rather stiff and smelled strongly of cheap plastic. The smell was so strong, we chose to use our own funnel. I certainly did not want something so toxic smelling touching our food. We did try the sleeves once and they worked as designed, zip locking firmly and did not leak. My kids enjoyed the pops. However, given that the funnel material seemed to be mis-advertised, it makes me very wary of whether the ice pop sleeves are actually BPA free and food grade as they claim. I'm uncertain if we will try another round of these.
