Beat cord I found so far for beading lanyards doesn’t pull or bunch up as long as you singed the ends.

I added some more anchor points with different angles on all my inflatables as we have very high winds here in Canada Nova Scotia. This twine is very durable and strong, and I haven’t lost one inflatable since I started using this product for additional support. It is also really good to help hold down solid decorations as well such as our Costco reindeer

Très solide comme paracorde. La couleur est parfaite pour ne pas s'accrocher dedans. Un must dans notre kit a camping

Overall this product is fine, no snags, decent quality, but in my testing, I took the 250kg rated strength, divided by 10 (9 strands plus the braided outer sheath) to get 25kg, and converted to lbs to get a little over 55lbs. A single strand broke easily from a 45lb weight, and so did 2 strands together. Only when I tied 3 strands together could they take the hanging weight of a 45lb weight. The outer sheath alone could handle the 45lb weight. I know a combined 9 strand plus braided outer sheath can most likely handle more weight combined than single strands with pared down weights, but I still would not trust the upper limits of this product. I cannot tell you the max usable strength of this product, but I would generously reduce their stated rating quite a bit just to be safe. All that said, I never use paracord for too heavy a load but more for binding things together, and for that this product meets that need perfectly.

Just like a knife comes in handy more times than I can count, paracord is a useful item to have around. I put this in my car kit. The paracord could be made into jewelry, but I ordered mine for practical purposes. The cord is ultra strong. As long as I burn the ends to keep it from unraveling, the strength of the cord is uncompromised. I can pull the center strings out for other uses and still have the outer cover for lighter operations. I am happy with this paracord and glad I ordered it.

I ordered this roll of paracord as I have a hundred different uses for it around the house. I use it for gardening, holding sunshades up, making bracelets, securing things together, you name it. This one is a cool looking turquoise color and is as strong as any other name brand paracord I've used. The strands melt together very well after cutting a piece off, and it stays together when using it. Overall, no reason not to recommend it.

EXTEDRG 100 Meters Paracord Rope 4mm Outdoor Camping Binding Rope (Ocean Camo).$25.19.Paracord often comes in 50 ft wraps, I like that this came in a 100-meter roll, which is about 328 feet of paracord. Those 50' wraps can sometimes be frustrating to unwrap, because they can tend to become tangled. If you install or dispense this paracord roll from a stick and unwind it as you need it, it should not become tangled, and you may not waste as much paracord. The ocean blue looks pretty good, but I would prefer more neutral colors, for what I use it for.I cut into the paracord, and it indeed does have 9 strands. This is advertised as 9 strands, 4mm (5/32") diameter, with a breaking force rated to 550 lbs. Those are pretty much the same ratings as many 7 strands, 4mm (5/32") with a breaking force rating of 550 lbs. There are advantages and disadvantages to 9 strands over 7 strands paracord...If you may have to separate the strands for use in a survival situation, with 9 strands paracord you have 2 extra strands to work with, but each individual strand is not quit as strong as a 7-strand paracord with a 550 lbs breaking force. It took a little time to find the end of the paracord, which was wrapped under another strand.Sometimes the end is taped where it can be seen, or it protrudes through a hole in the reel and is secured, to make it easy to find the end.

I'm glad I bought this. It does the trick for so many jobs. Both decorative and functional.I've used it to tie my tomato cages to their planters, after I grew tired of replacing other cords every year. Also, I make walking sticks and use paracord for functional appearance features.I doubt it would be something I would want to rely on, were I hanging off a parachute. That said, I'm in my adult heavy mode and I do not doubt a single strand would hold me. As such, it's handy to have around.

I used it to attach bubble wrap to some large plant containers that will remain outside during the winter. So far it's doing fine. It would be really nice if I could reuse it next winter... we'll see

I am using this to support a 36' heavy duty fiberglass mast for Amateur Radio and EMCOMM antennas. 150' V-Beam and small VHF/UHF vertical. 35 MPH gusts and just a wiggle. I recommend.

Not the typical use, but also very useful. Purchased to tie down a menagerie of floaties over a week long family cottage vacation. Kid's had implied freedom while on a socially acceptable leash and the "friends" couldn't fly away even in the strongest evening winds.Cuts easily, melts to stop fraying, probably also good for things you'd actually mean to use it for.

Paracord is one of the most versatile types of cordage out there. It can be used to make belts, bracelets, gun slings, knife grips, and so much more. I keep a 50' piece in my survival kit for lashing, binding bundles of firewood, and, in a pinch, fishing line. I've also used paracord to make lanyards for anything I want to keep close at hand but easy to use (i.e. knife, compass, gps, satellite communicator, etc.) I was excited to get a full roll of 100 meters because of how useful this stuff is.This is described as paracord with a 9 strand core. However, the roll I received only has 8 strands. Thus the rating of 4 stars instead of 5. I'm not sure how much this will impact the overall strength but I'm confident it will be strong enough for my needs. Other than the inner strand count, I'm impressed with this paracord. The outer sheath is very tightly woven and no noticeable issues with the weave. The inner strands are all consistent in quality and also well constructed. This paracord has a very dense, compact feel to it, unlike other brands that feel soft and loosely woven. From my perspective, the tight weave will make this easier to work with and less prone to snagging and fraying of the outer sheath.Because of its versatility, paracord is something that everyone should have. 100 meters (roughly 328 feet) is a lot of paracord for a very reasonable price. Get some.
