I have tried several of these for a phone cord repair and this adaptor does seem to crimp properly. I would look elsewhere for a better product.

These just aren't worth the money. Majority of the ends the pins do not crimp. These will end up just going into a landfill. Used multiple crimp tools and they all produce the same results. Would send back if I was able to.Even when there isn't a wire the pins don't always crimp down. Difficult to tell in the picture but the pin on the left has no wire under it. Only pin 1 actually made a solid connection on this end. This is with 28awg stranded cable
