I did not have high expectations based on other reviews. I am extending some small 1W LED lights and used these to splice in additional wire. Perfect solution and price. These are not for wire larger than 18 or 20 gauge, or high stress or pulling strength. They just do what they are supposed to do. And the little screw hole in the middle was what I needed to attach it.

It is not robust enough to be used for power applications nor is it certified for such use. The internal spring is to weak for use in low voltage applications as conductors are easily pulled out without pressing the release. I had a great application for them but I wasn’t willing to accept the risk.
