These are made from heavy (100g) paper stock. Very sturdy, never flimsy. Flaps are uniformly pre-folded, which saves me a LOT of work, makes them easy to pack. Never undersized like some others, so it's always easy to slide disk into place. Clear windows practically never come loose (maybe 2-3 in a thousand). And the price is right, so they're cheap, but the manufacturer doesn't cut corners, and you're getting a well-made product. I'm a repeat buyer, never had a problem. I buy them by the thousand, and I recommend them highly.

The paper quality is as advertised and the folding crease is easy to use. Actually nice not to have to unfold the flaps first. These are just what I needed after going through 3 different brands at 5 different suppliers, all of which went through radical price increases on the way to going out of business. (KODAK, RIP?) Hope these guys stay around and Amazon keeps them on Prime. One of the great things about PRIME is that the returns are easy, UPS picks up at my door, and the refunds are almost instantaneous. So buyers remorse is a thing of the past. Good job, Amazon!

I looked through several different item listings on Amazon in search of "low cost" paper sleeves for my CD collection. I wanted something that was 100g weight, as the reviews for the 80g weights were terrible. I found this listing, and even though it was for 1000 sleeves, the cost was still very affordable. The sticker on the box says that these are 100g, but for some reason they don't feel as heavy as the 100g Memorex ones I purchased at the local big box store a few months back. The sleeves should be suitable for my needs, as they will mainly be used for archival purposes and will only be seldom handled.I looked through a few of the stacks and didn't see any that were falling apart or had the cellophane window falling off so that's a plus. These sleeves are not folded, and do not have a "lock tab" on the back, but neither of those are a make or break for me. For the price and quantity, these cant be beat!

These sleeves are described as thick but are not. They are only marginally thicker than the very thin ones. Not the as thick as the standard white sleeves I bought some years ago. The windows are pasted well. They are slightly larger than the cheaper ones, which makes entry and exit of discs easier. They are a bargain compared to buying 100 at a time. They do have a little fold out clip on the back to hold down the leaf.

Why I bought it:I was looking for an inexpensive option to protect DVD's and CD's that I distribute. After reading reviews for several different bulk envelope products, I settled on this one because it was advertised as being made of a heavier-grade paper. The other products I checked had reviews complaining that the paper was too thin, so I figured it was probably worth spending a couple extra bucks for the heavier paper. (I paid about $22 for 1,000 envelopes)The good:1. These envelopes are indeed well-constructed, on a par with what you would expect to get with a piece of name-brand software.2. At a fraction over 2 cents apiece, they were a great deal in my opinion. The NOT so good:1. Despite being advertised under the "Technical Details" as being "With flap holder tab on the back," the lot I received did not - repeat NOT - have this feature, which was still listed as of this review. This feature was not a deal-breaker for me, but if it is for you, you may want to pass on these.2. Because of the way they were packaged, (the factory packaging, not the shipping) a small number of the envelopes (less than 10) were bent or creased. Again, this wasn't a deal-breaker for me since the number was so small, but I think i'm entitled to expect better.3. From reading the reviews of various bulk envelope options, it appears to me that they usually come without their flaps prefolded. These envelopes are no exception to that norm, although they are formed with a slight crease to aid in folding the flap straight and in the right place.I raised the first 2 problems with Amazon, and they were great about it. They gave me the option of either returning the package at their expense for a full refund, or of keeping it and getting a 20% refund. I elected to keep the envelopes since I think they were still a good deal.
