I'm not going to actually count each of these. But it does look like the count is fairly accurate. These are pretty much as advertised. Hard to mess up a steel ball. They're solid, consistent, fly well, and roll well. No complaints here.

I was a little skeptical on the count when I first looked at the bag. I figured there'd be no way that it could even be close to 1000 here. But according to my calculations my pack came with roughly 980, so pretty close to the advertised 1000! I also couldn't find any defects with any of them. Any that I test-fired all flew really well and were pretty accurate. For the price, I'd highly recommend this pack if you're getting into slingshot shooting!
