Got this to replace a PID set up on a water distiller. It worked fine on 110v, 20A circuit. I returned my copy as it did not do well for my needs. With a 2000w element, I had to crank it all the way up to get going, then only had about a quarter of an inch room to dial down before not enough juice. I built my own with a much less sensitive dial for better control.
