Fit well

I had to replace the trim screw weather stripping on my cargo trailer and this fit perfectly. It installed without any issues and is just a little thicker than the material I replaced so I am hoping it will last even longer. The color is listed as black but mine is more of a very dark gray. This doesnโt matter to me but if you are wanting a true black it is something to be aware of. I am very pleased with this molding insert and definitely recommend it.

It may be the beginning of March, but it is the beginning of spring here in Texas, so we have begun to prep our camper for the camping season and part of that is checking all of the weatherstripping and the seals around the roof and sides of our camper. For the first time this year, I noticed that our weatherstripping around the outside hedges of our camper, had started to completely crack in half top to bottom all the way around. This weatherstripping has to have a gap and U-shaped because that is what the water travels down and goes out the bottom to funnel it off of the roof from. This weatherstripping gasket fit like a glove and was about a quarter of the price that my local RV shop wanted to charge me to buy it and have them install it. As long as you know what screws you need to remove. Itโs very easy to do it yourself and replace it.

This replacement RV trim is about 50 % heavier than the oem trim it replaced. I wasn't able to just start it at one end and pull it thru. I needed to pull out the old trim and starting at one end, kind of pinch the strip together to get it inserted into the grooves on each side. It took a while, but was manageable. The old trim was kind of shiny, while this has more of a matt finish. Looks great and should be more durable than the original. I used this on a 2018 Springdale travel trailer for the trim on the front corners.

This type of material is necessary for installing in certain areas in the camper but it breaks down over time. After that happens, it's necessary to replace so this roll will allow it to be done. Will update with any issues.

It's that time when your trim starts to break down, this was fairly easy to insert, looks better too, and cheaper that last trim I purchased, will buy again.
