Yeah, we know, these little blobs of lead are attached to fishing lines to weigh them down. They aren’t much bigger than salmon eggs, so they are really easy to drop. That’s where the fins come: it makes them easy to handle so the line can be guided into the split. I didn’t drop one when I tried these out. They also come in a case for storage and sizing.

Good assortment of lead, removable split shot. I have used one on several rigs with no breakage. I bought a second unit after I received them, just to have spares. They grip well if you crimp them hard enough. I received them in the rectangular box both times. Garbage both times. The pin for the lid hinge was broken on both boxes. I used an older round box to put them in and the spare box has a rubber band around it. Good sinkers, poor packaging. I did purchase a second unit and would buy again just for the lead sinkers.

Haven’t used the split shot yet, but it looks ok. The ‘resealable’ box they came in is a piece of trash.

Nice quality sinkers. I needed some new ones and had always used the round red pack in the past. I had concern if this would overcrowd my tackle box. It’s a very thin and secure container that sits nicely on the bottom so no problem. It’s also way more convenient to open this container than twisting and shaking the red pack.

This assortment make it very easy to add or subtract weights in my fishing line as needed
