The LED manufacturer's specifications for the ideal voltage and current ratings should be included with this item so you can calculate the circuit that it is to be used in. The specs for this item are not included. The item number isn't anywhere on the label, or it doesn't match up with the item number on the website. The printing on the label is so light and so small that it takes a powerful magnifying glass to read it. Because of this, I have to ask - What did I get? And why can't I give it a "0" star rating?

I've already had 3 out of the bunch go bad. These were only drawing 15mA so they weren't being overdriven. I don't see many other complaints about reliability so I just got some bad ones.

I like these lights because I only need one light instead two on my train layout control panel.

Great for indicating track polarity on model RR. Mates well with 3mm panel lamp sockets. Easier to use than a 3 leg LED. Don't forget to add a resistor.

The LED’s performed as expected. Simple two pin setup to change the color with reverse polarity. The red is great, the green was a bit yellowish with too much voltage. At 1.9-2.1 volts the green was just fine.

These worked as expected, turning red or green depending on whether receiving a positive or negative signal. I used this in my modular set up with 8th inch jack to create a pulsing indicator light just for fun.
