Not bad overall. You do get the plastic main housing like in the thumbnail. I used a raspberry pi 5 4gb w/ Rpi os There are 2 types screws provided. 1 for the housing backing and some for the pi itself. The ones for the pididnt catch the threads to secure to the main unit very well at first. I heated up the screws briefly, not to hot, and they fit after. The active cooling is the only flaw I personally saw. It's 12v fan that is mounted on the right inside to draw air in from an inlet on the left side is not efficient. Even under a basic load, like streaming a movie, the CPU temps were well into the 70°'s (Celsius). The 12v fan spun well into the 6000 rpm range, mounted on the inside, it was buzzy and loud. There are 2,12v fan plugin ports. I ended up modifying mine with 2, 12v fans hooked up the 5v GPIO pins to have them run silently. Then mounting them on the outside. 1 pulling in and blowing the air directly on the pi with another pulling the exhaust air out on the right side. Has been a much quieter and I can enjoy the semi decent mono/stero sounding speakers without turning the volume to max. Made a nice little night stand kiosk to watch movies. I got mine on sale when they had a 50% thing going. The screen is adjustable to many levels of comfort. I am not disappointed. The kickstand too is also very robust and has replaceable hardware for all of it. So if it breaks, youre not out of luck. This an all over the place review, but to the real people who buy these. It might be worth your time.

I wanted to my pi to be more of a stand alone machine so I decided to give this touch screen a try. The screen has many accessories to help connect to my pi. I like how the unit encloses my pi. Install was easy with the enclosure. The monitor is bright and the screen is responsive. Over, I like the monitor and would recommend it to all.

I love love this thing. The portablity of it with my kids and camping is amazing for this summer. I have my raspberry setup to play all those retro games and this is an amazing way to take it with us. The screen is a perfect size for the kids to play around in the back seat and really enjoy themselves. The touch function is perfect but the speed and connectivity is just amazing as well. I would highly recommend this for any use.

Fantastic little screen that pairs perfectly with my Raspberry Pi 5. I’ve been using it to run Android as a tablet of sort, and it’s been running without a hitch. It’s a great fit if you’re like to have something powerful enough to run all apps smoothly.The touch response is way better than expected for a screen at this price point—definitely usable and smooth. It doesn’t come with a case, which would just add even more value to an already great purchase.My only suggestion would be (if possible) to allow an easier access to the SD card slot on the Pi, but overall, this gets a solid five stars from me.

This is a very nice high resolution monitor. Display is crisp and clear with good brightness and the touch works very well. Raspberry Pi fits perfectly using the Pi3 / universal bracket.The mini connectors that interface with the monitor are a little tricky to get lined up when installing the Pi, just take your time and make sure they are fully lined up before pressing them down.Overall I am very happy with this monitor. It will be used as the main interfacet to my home automation system and pool controls.

I researched this type of screen extensively before settling on this one. Works well except for the touchscreen portion. I’m using this with a raspberry pi 4 so I used the included short usb cable designed for the pi and no matter what version of operating system I tried (also tried two other pi’s) I could not get the touch screen to work. I ended up using the usb c connection and a cable from the pi usb port stretching a cable from one side of the unit to their other around the back to make the touchscreen work. A little disappointing but it’s a workaround and functions well. It also came with every cable you could need. Other than the touch issue, I can’t complain.A suggestion for the future is an option to leave the case fan on when the screen goes to sleep to continue cooling the system.

The product works exactly as expected. The speaker are great for the price. The colors on the monitor also look great and the pixel density is very good. The monitor is only can display 60 frames per second, but for how I use the monitor that doesn't matter to me. I also enjoy how the monitor has a kick stand, it keeps the monitor up very well.
