The product is probably fine. I bought a replacement I could get the next day (for furnace - weather turning cold).This is an upgraded version, the one I was able to get next day was the original OEM part but Nordyne has upgraded the part (original part was round with a split) (upgraded part is flat).I will take the replacement part out and try this upgraded version. I will leave in in and keep the working OEM replacement as a spare.If there are no updates, everything is working fine. Incidentally, several heating specialists have told me the igniter is probably the component with the highest failure rate. It is a easy part to replace and not too expensive, therefore a person should keep one on hand.If you can find the part that can be delivered next day, buy it from them. Don't reward vendor's that are not mindful to the customer's needs. I keep saying all companies should model their service, quality and customer care after AMAZON (Mindful)!Update: Installed and tested. It works fine. BUT, if your cold, you need a better delivery time than this vendor provides.

Super easy to install and saved huge over a service call and repair shop mark up.I typically cheer for the small business under dog, but then I realized that I'm the blue collar under dog myself. The money I saved doing this myself still went into my local community, just in a different way....gas, groceries, etc.The ignitor has work flawlessly since installed.
