These seem to be very well made 3/16" quick connects for 0.020" (0.5mm) thick tabs. The contact interface has sufficient plating, the contacts are well formed into twin round spring curls and the flat area is correctly split and coined into contact ad retention zones, the material has a good spring rate, the contacts reach a good normal force (surface pressure) for low contact resistance, without scraping off the plating. The crimp ferrule is the correct size for 16-14 AWG stranded wire, round, has internal retaining grooves, has a wire insertion stop tab, is a good thickness and is well formed. The insulation is the correct density and hardness to conform to the ferrule after crimping without being cut or extruded while the ferrule is crimped. In short they are the correct design, made with the correct materials, and correctly formed. All that said, I don't want to mislead people with a glowing review for a product not suited to their purpose. These are not for every application and may perform poorly if misapplied. The ferrule is for stranded 16 AWG or 14 AWG wire only. They will loosen (over time if not immediately) and fall off of a solid wire. Crushing the ferrule to use them with smaller wire cracks the plating and doesn't retain the wire well and may also thin/cut the insulation, etc. A reasonably good crimp tool for insulated terminals and the correct crimping technique for the specific tool are also needed. These are made for use with 3/16" (0.187") wide male tabs, not the very similar but slightly wider 0.205" tab. Its very important to note that these contacts are specifically for 0.020" thick tabs, not the thicker 0.032" tab. When a female contact made for 0.020" tabs is used with 0.032" tabs, insertion is very difficult, the contacts may be bent or broken in the attempt, the tin plated mating surface may be goughed or wear through after a small number of insertion/withdrawl cycles. If in doubt buy as many types as are needed to be sure you have the correct one, a broken male tab terminal on a piece of equipment can be very expensive to fix. This (Morris 10322) is a vinyl insulated terminal, rated to 75°C. Use a nylon insulated terminal rated 105°C (e.g. Morris 11918) in hot locations like A/C, furnace, electric motor, kitchen appliances that heat up, wherever an original terminal was the harder more transparent nylon, or when the wire is either a high temperature wire or a thermoplastic insulated wired rated 90°C or higher, etc.
