Replacing this air conditioner clutch is a few notches above my ability, so it was done by my mechanic. This clutch fits the 2006 CR-V, for a sure thing. After replacement, the difference in the way the system cools is noticeable. So, it is not always about the refrigerant, which I did replace first but led to a minor improvement, if any
