Efficient, great quality gets job done right the frist time

The tape adhesion is ok but the heat transfer ability is suspect at best. I would not recommend using this product to attach a heatsink to any device that generates a lot of heat, especially that rose in temperature very quickly. I would not beMy own experience was with a hot running controller chip. I wanted to switch to a bigger heatsink that had an attached cooling fan, and I used this tape to fasten it. Mistake. When I powered up the chip, the heatsink stayed fairly cool. Sure enough, the board on which the chip was soldered became super hot to the touch. Previously the old heatsink heated up very quickly - a sure indication the heat transfer to the new heatsink was no longer working well.I would be particularly concerned if it were used on any chip that heats up very quickly as it may get damaged or may shut itself down before any heat transfer even occurs. CPU? GPU? Definitely not.
