I ordered the 120 grit set. It comes with 10 sanding discs, a reusable holder, and both an interchangeable 1/4” hex shank and 1/4" smooth shank for use with power tools.Other than what is listed on the package itself (see photo), there is no label on the discs to indicate what the grit size is. And while I did not order any other grit sizes, the product description shows all grit sizes in the same blue color. I would much prefer a system where either the grit size is labeled on each disc and/or the color of the discs vary by grit size. The discs are relatively small (about 2” in diameter) but well-suited to cordless drill/impact driver power tools. I would not use these for sanding large surfaces, but only for small areas. Moreover, these would not be a replacement for my angle grinder with larger discs (e.g., 4.5”).

Makes short work of surface rust and old rivets. I really like that this kit comes with both an arbor for a die grinder, and a quick detach arbor for a drill. Discs seem to have decent life to them as well! Good deal and work great

Great value. They work as well if not better than more expensive brands. I use them to grind and clean car floor pans for paint preparation and they are great for rust removal.

Since I had a bunch of these, I was on a mission to destroy one so I really put it through the rigorous testing. works great on smooth stuff, removing rust, etc. but I also used it on rough surfaces like concrete and anything else I could find in the shop that would tear it up in there amazingly well with no deamination. Holder hardware is also built right.

These are VERY GOOD small flap discs to get in tight spots. This pack we ordered has ten discs with an assortment of grits. The shafts are handy too since you get a smooth shank and a standard 1/4" hex shank for versatile use in your tools. You even get lockwasher nuts, but I don't know why you need since if you reverse the direction the disc will depart the base immediately. Plus why would you want flap discs going backwards? Anyhow they are handy and very useful. We hope this information is helpful in your decision. Cheers ! !

I grabbed a set of the 120 grit 2" flapper wheels to do some work around the house and yard, including refurbishing some metal yard decorations that my wife has been collection over the last 30 years or so. The set comes with 10 discs, all the same grit, and a wheel with 2 replaceable shanks. One is a round shank and the other is a hex shank, so they can be used with a variety of tools to get the job done. They remind me very much of an oversized twist off bottlecaps. The flapper wheel powered through the rust quickly, leaving a nice surface area that with some light sanding was ready to refinish. These are great to keep a handful around in the shop and I really like that the arbor will fit a standard jacobs chuck or hex chuck. The one area I would caution others is if you are using these with a dremel style or die grinder tool, verify the working speed before going crazy with these. While I don't see any flaws or problems with them, at the speeds some of those tools are capable of producing these wheels can turn into flying discs of destruction.

I like to restore and upgrade cast iron cookware. This involves a lot of sanding. These are the best things I've ever used for the handles. I got the set that included grits from 40 to 120 which is more than fine enough for cast iron.I used them with an old school corded drill which has plenty of torque and @ 3000 RPM is many times faster than a cordless drill but many times slower than an angle grinder. They lasted well and at that speed they cut at a nice controlled rate. The backer is holding up well so far and will surely last thru all the wheels. If you sand small curved surfaces, I don't think you can go wrong with these and a corded drill. It works for me!
