I finally got a chance to use these to restore the fog light lenses on my 2008 BMW.You can buy one of those kits but I normally have rough, medium, and fine rubbing compounds in the garage so all I needed were these pads. If your lenses are really bad, start with 400-grit sandpaper, then 800-grit, then rough compound, medium compound, fine compound, and finally throw a coat of wax on them to prevent further oxidation. The pictures speak for themselves but it's worth mentioning that these pads are also great for cleaning heavily soiled plastic, vinyl, and leather items. I apply a generous amount of cleaner to the pad and to the item I'm cleaning, whiz it around with my drill for a few minutes, wipe away the excess, and voila - good as new!Functionally, they have been great so far and the foam seems as durable as I would expect. Just be careful and try to avoid sharp edges.

The BLINGOBLING 11Pcs Buffing & Polishing Sponge Pads set is a decent kit with a variety of foam textures that work well for different stages of detailing. The 3-inch size is perfect for small, hard-to-reach areas, and the waffle design helps distribute product evenly during use. The pads have good adhesion and appear to be very durable so far. However, the effectiveness of this set depends heavily on keeping track of the drill attachment piece. Unfortunately, I misplaced mine halfway through a detail job, and without it, the pads became unusable. It’s a good reminder to double-check all your pieces before starting!Overall, the kit performs well and is easy to use, but be mindful of keeping all parts together, as losing a key component can quickly derail your project. Overall a great value.

We ordered to help with the buffing out of alum wheels in our shop. They did work well when they held together which unfortunately wasn’t very often. Went through 6 pads in a day. Just experimenting right now. Thanks

I did some research and confirmed that you can use Orbital Disks (the kind the use on autos). With this device this kitchen should be one day!

I ordered these polishing pads on November 7th and received them December 14th. I was beginning to assume that they had been lost to the postal system. I used them and they worked fine for what I needed, I recommend them for small areas or projects. There's a fair assortment of foam pads of different densities and surfaces, both flat and "egg crate" shaped to fit different work surfaces and contours. To polish larger areas I would prefer to use a buffer. The drill adapter should fit any standard drill with a 3-jaw chuck.
