I used for 6 gauge wire splice. Provided Allen key thin and bent when tightened, but I had one. Shrink wrap did not shrink very much and was not effective. I added electrical tape wrap. I was able to splice but had to use my own supplies to do so. I wish locking screws were sturdier and shrink wrap sealed. For light projects, should work.

These connectors worked perfectly to connect 6 gauge wire ends for my solar project. I highly recommend them. Better than what i expected.

I used these connectors inside an enclosure and the connectors worked fine, the included stripper was handy in close quarters. The included allen wrench is a little small, i used my own wrench. The included shrink tubing was the thinnest I've ever seen. I used some I had on hand over the included tubing to be safe.

10 gauge wire is good to 30A, so I'm not sure why they're listing this coupler, that doesn't fit thicker wires at 60A, although it's possible that the coupler itself is capable of safely conducting 60A on it's own. Personally I wouldn't go over 30A with this kind of connection. You need a good crimp and proper terminal for higher amperages to reduce losses (and thus heat) from poorly mating surface, like a threaded screw. All that said, if you're using this for a tinker-toy project and just need to splice in a connector that is quick and easy to slide in and know it's not going to be a large amount of current for extended periods then this is totally fine. The included shrink-wrap is a pretty nice touch, because the exterior of the connector is out in the open, so make sure you're aware of that.
