This is an insta-clog hot end. Both of mine were not heating appropriately. I had trouble physically pushing ABS through the hot end to try to clear it... with hot end temp set to 300C. I think the problem with all these aftermarket hotends for the Kobra S1 is the glue used to keep the nozzle in place. I believe Anycubic is the only ones using a good high-temp glue. The lack of this glue by other sellers means that when you get to 230C+, the glue is melting and allowing liquid extrusion to push into places it shouldnt.

showing 50C on room temperature, which indicates this is bad aftermarket hotend, be aware of clogging.

There are so many little pieces on 3D printers that can fail or need to be replaced over time, and having some spares on hand for these is a great. When it comes to non-core parts like this, having some good, inexpensive spares on hand is great. There is no noticeable quality difference between these on the OEM ones, and for the price, it is a good piece of mind to know I now have some spares to swap out when needed.

I have several 3D printers in my arsenal and one just happens to be a QQS-Pro. I needed a new build place and was looking for something different and this was perfect. I removed the old build plate and put this one in its place. Perfect fit and finish! I have since printed many items and have had no issues with adhesion. The build plate is magnetic so I can be removed and bent slightly to make removing your print very easy

Although the hotends are built and assembled very well, the heat output is far too low to achieve any extrusion when pushing 250° on the printer's end.

Shipped with the wrong thermistor for the Kobra S1, got that replaced pretty easily. works fine and is a mostly 1:1 replacement at about the same price as the official one.So why would I get it?One reason, the hotend that currently ships with the Kobra S1 and the official replacements include a thermally glued nozzle which makes it impossible or very difficult to replace that nozzle with anything else. Hardened steel, smaller or larger hole? Not with the Anycubic Nozzles. Enter RugooSpink, the nozzle itself came out of the hot end with very little fiddling and could be replaced with any other volcano nozzle I wanted.So Why only 3 stars? Well, the hot end still includes a PTFE tube in the heatchoke, This means that while it is technically possible to replace the stock hotend I still would not run this hotend (or the stock one for that matter) above 260C because the PTFE will start to off-gas. Because of this even though the nozzle can be replaced the use case is dramatically reduced. The primary reason for a hardened steel nozzle is that you can print abrasive filaments. PA-CF and PC-CF open up a world of functional and sturdy parts but they both require a lot of heat, heat that I am not comfortable putting anywhere near a hotend that isn't full metal.So does it do what is says on the tin? replacing stock hotend at least once you get the thermistor issue sorted? Sure.Can you replace the nozzle with a finer or larger bore one for print customization? Yes.Is it perfect? No, but very close. An all metal hotend that does this is available and I'd recommend you go with that one as it is nearly the same price, does not from what I have seen come with the same thermistor issues, and allows you even more flexibility.

A1 mini has a sensor a check to make sure there is a build plate on before it starts printing, well that’s exactly where the holes are on the build plates so…. Every print has to work through a resume after you try and print and the build plate missing error is bypassed.So they are the price they are for a reason be ready
