I got these for a pirate themed event. They were awesome and caught lots of people's attention. They are plastic, so not quite as shiny as similar glass gems, but you also don't have to worry about them chipping or breaking. The colors are fun, though not particularly realistic.

These gems are great for diving in the pool! The kids love how they shine at the bottom and all the colors are great. I like that there’s large gems and also small gems to make it a little bit harder to find great value and super fun!

I ordered this set of colorful diving gems for our pool this summer. I'm always on the lookout for diving toys that are too big to get stuck in the space between the main drain covers & the surface of the pool, and most gems are not big enough despite being advertised as pool toys. In this set, the four 60mm gems are big enough that they won't get stuck. I suspect the other 30mm ones may be too small though so I will ban those from the pool. I wish the entire set was 60mm, and given that this is advertised for pools I think 4/9 useable items is not a great deal price-wise. That said, the gems themselves are gorgeous and fun and the kids will love playing with ALL of these inside or outside (anywhere other than the pool). If this whole set was 60mm it would be 5/5. If you're not using them for pool diving, also 5/5.

I got these for my son who is obsessed with treasure and loves swimming. What a fabulous toy to address both passions! I had bought him diving gems previously, and--while he loved them--their lack of facets and overall flat presentation was not as satisfying as I/he thought it would be. Thus, when I gandered these, I knew I had to get them. They came in a lovely, unmarked little cardboard box that, once opened, reveals these gems on a bed of classy, paper tinsel shreds. I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation. As I bought this for my family, I wasn't aiming for good present presentation, but this set has it in spades! The gems come in two sizes and a beautiful, non-repeating variety of colors. The large on fills my adult hand and the little one is still a substantial size and weight--I'm not worried about younger guests choking on it or losing it. My son adores them. We haven't even gotten them to a pool yet--he has just engaged them everywhere in our house: the shower, the bath, the toy room, the dinner table, anywhere he can direct some light through them to make dancing color tones. They've led to a lot of treasure hunts, too. I recommend these over alternative diving gems thanks to their heft, their satisfying "it looks exactly as you'd expect treasure gems to look" presentation, their beautiful albeit lowkey packaging, and their brilliant colors. They're amazing!

Decent acrylic gems. All gems are very vibrant in color and have good clarity (no air bubbles inside). The large ones are heavy enough to be diving toys, but the little ones are much lighter and take longer to sink. Still, these gems are fun for just regular pretend play. We are happy with this collection.

These gems are fabulous, and well packed. The oversized gems are individual wrapped in the plastic wrap. the colors are true to description and photo on the website. They are very beautiful and shiny, and very good quality. Kids are obsessed with them. I think they are much more versatile than just for pool. We used them for treasure hunt games, eastern egg stuffing, and we actually make a “treasure box” to store these lovely gems for dramatic play. The large ones are very impressive, and the small ones are quite cute.The small ones can be a bit too small for children under 2, so be aware of that. The large gems are safe from choking hazard.

I purchased these to use in the swimming pool while on vacation. The larger ones I expect will be very useful. The smaller ones might be another story, especially the light blue pieces that look like they might disappear all together! There are plenty of different gems of varying sizes in the set, enough to keep kids bobbing up and down for quite some time. When we aren't on vacation and near a pool, these will work great as pretend treasure!

I got these to give out to children at a medieval festival. They are very pretty and should work great as part of my ‘dragon hord’.
