Your cart is empty. The L78xx series of three-terminal positivregulators is available in TO-220, TO-220TO-3 and D2PAK packages and several foutput voltages, making it useful in a wide of applications.
These regulators can prlocal on-card regulation, eliminating the distribution problems associated with singregulation.
Each type employs internal culimiting, thermal shut-down and safe area protection, making it essentially indestrucadequate heat sinking is provided, they cdeliver over 1 A output current.
Although dprimarily as fixed voltage regulators, thesdevices can be used with external compoobtain adjustable voltage and currents

Bought these to replace my stock VR for my 1970 Datsun gauges. I only needed one, but thought i might build a few more to give away. Works great. My gauges work flawlessly and seem accurate.

We know where these come from, but I've used one to power an Arduino device and at 100 MA they work fine. Haven't tried to pull major current through one.
