Well let's see, 4 came Pre stripped, The other 4 failed completely while on the truck, There are 2 in the picture, I can't take off the others because I have nothing to replace them with.

Buy extras because some of them will be defective, that is my main advice. I was replacing the linkages on a tuba and needed ten of these. They come in packages of 10, but I thought it would be best to have a few spares just in case. It was a good thing I got 20 because several were defective and didn't turn freely. I did find 10 useable ones out of 20, but I encourage you to buy several more than you need. The result was good though. I have bought the high-priced genuine Miniball links and even at $20 a piece I still find about 1 in 10 is defective, so not too surprised that some were discarded.

So far so good. Has a nice finish and definitely more weight than plastic.Edit: Just bought the second set to finish my rig. No issue after months of abuse and wrecks. A great buy.
