I’ve never used wooden rollers before and I liked getting 10 different patterns for the price. What I didn’t consider was that the end of these rollers are the same diameter with a plain border rather than tapered with a finished pattern. Because of this, you cannot continue the pattern wider than the 5 1/4 inch roller width. Most other rollers I’ve seen have tapered edges with the pattern to the edges.A few of the rollers have small flaws in the wood cut. I don’t expect perfection in my pottery so I’m fine with this.Being a newbie at this, my first try left an uneven pattern so make sure your clay is evenly flat and smoothed.
