At Devil n Dove, this silicone heat press mat has been a great addition to our sublimation setup. It provides even heat distribution, protects our work surface, and helps get crisp, clean transfers. If you're having problems getting enough pressure on your projects, this pad is just the ticket. It's much firmer than a pressing pillows, so easier to get higher pressure with less force. I actually found I was getting too much pressure with it in my auto press, but it's great for my smaller manual presses.

It is a fairly thin mat compared to the one you most likely received with your press.But it is not necessarily a bad thing especially if you use your press for sublimating large items with cardboard.I ruined my original press mat by pressing ceramic tiles too hard. They embedded into the mat and it never healed itself. This new one is pretty dense and I don't see the same problem happening.If you need the same thickness as your original press mat, get 2 of these.

I like the feel of this mat. It seems of great quality and hopefully will last for a very long time. It seems very sturdy but also is sufficiently malleable to be used for my crafting purposes. The surface is smooth which is desirable.

I bought this to use with my Cricut autopress to hopefully be able to press some items that need a firmer mat. I have not used it for that press yet but I have used it for my hand held press and it works great. I chose this mat as its size is the same as my autopress so I didn’t have to worry about cutting it. I have been looking a mat like this for awhile but price was always an issue. When I came across this one I scooped it up as the price was great and so far the product has been great.

This mat is very sturdy and works great for sublimating metal wind spinners and ornaments. I haen't used it for other things yet.

Has a slight smell, which is to be expected, but has a great size to match the (well known) large easy press.
