Our four year old grandson loves to play in the dirt, and these shovels are absolutely perfect for him to use. The fact that there is a red one made it even better. Well made and should help him with many little things projects..

The tools all broke the first day within a hour of using it. Not a quality tool at all. Do not buy it was a waste of time buying. Go out abs buy a quality product that will last longer then a hour.

I bought these shovels specifically because they are a single piece and all the other "kid shovels" we've tried have broken at the handle. So far these have been great for including my kids in the spring gardening and they feel strong and well made.
