Buy these!! If you use different size yarn for crocheting, you will find you wished you had bought these. Not all yarn will work with the same tension ring we use because we only bought one. Believe me I know and because it happened to me! These are perfect for different size yarns.

This item is tagged for Knitting but is clearly meant for crocheting. These are two different crafts and are not interchangeable. The working yarn isn't even held in the same hand with these two crafts.

Like the fact it comes will every thing in the tin. Comes with needles, threader, stich markers. And all the rings. Down side every ring is in their own ziplock bag that are a pain to open. I just ripped them open.

This is a nice assortment of helpful rings that are cute and functional. They came in a sturdy little tin, and should make crocheting much easier.

I really like the different options of rings with this set. Not only are there different options for aesthetics, but also for how the ring holds the yarn for crocheting. I was starting to struggle with my hands hurting while crocheting because of the tension that was needed. I had tried another style of ring, but it ended up stretching out too easily. So far, I have only used one style from this set. (The basic curly one.) I have seen this same design made from other wires/metals that didn't seem too strong. These rings however are made from decent quality material. I have yet to see that the ring is getting stretched out, and I have been using this one longer than I was using one from a different brand. The only downfall I have seen so far is that these are not intended for long-term wear. My teen son, who also enjoys crocheting, wanted a ring. He picked the one that looked like a snake. He figured that he could wear that as a regular ring, and be able to crochet whenever, without needing to find the ring to put on. After the first day of wearing it, he showed me that it was discoloring his finger. I didn't realize that he was planning on wearing it for an extended time like that.I also like that this set of rings also comes with some needles for sewing the crochet pieces together, needle threaders, and row markers, all in a nice little metal tin.

These are very nice, but they are really NOT made for those with larger fingers. The little kitty outline next to the colored peacock? Fits on my pinky finger. But they are really cute.And for the price, you are getting a nice little box, some tapestry needles and the yarn threader. It's worth it try and maybe find one two of the rings you can use.
