- PRECISION CUT NOTCH Allows for the installation tool to engage the stud. The notch sits below the rubber surface, so if you want to uninstall, the notch remains in undamaged by abrasion.
- AUGER CUTTING EDGE Slices right through the rubber when you apply pressure during the installation process.

After a use in trout waters in western NC, a couple of these pulled out. Seemed very secure when installed. May need alteration on design.

Try to set into a pair of SIMMS. Would not set and rendered the boots unusable.Bought Korkers for interchangeable soles.Loved those SIMMS! Like the Korkers too!

I don't know how good this is going to be. It's too late to return because I need them, but package clearly opened and I don't know if I got all the studs because it definitely wasn't sealed back up properly. Super disappointed 😞

I've always used 3/8" hex heads, but they need to be replaced after a year, 2 at most. I'm looking forward to seeing how well these perform!

I've used similar products previously and like having these especially for ice fishing. I put just a couple on my heel and center of my shoe and that's given me the grip needed.I like the Installation tool as a part of the kit. I'd hate to have to buy it separately. This kit gets a 10 out of 10 for me. There's enough to do all of us in my group but it does sound destructive on inside floors. Don't wear the shoes with these installed inside or your wife will do some serious damage to you!

The package and item description said 28 studs and there was only 18 studs in the package. Unhappy with amount I paid for only 18 studs.
