Buying this Geberit carrier has become a complete financial disaster. It does not fully flush - even toilet paper is not flushed away! - so you can imagine solid waste! It just sits there spinning around but not flushing! I have 2 of these - I had the Geberit distributor come to my home. His attitude was that I was a pain and he didn't want to spend any time in trying to fix the problem. He said the carrier was fine and basically blamed everyone else - the builder-the plumber etc and left. Our builder decided that he would buy new Toto toliets (at his cost) and install them and it should fix the problem. He didn't want to replace the carrier with something other than Geberit which I think would have solved the problem but that meant breaking through the wall again and making a mess. So we went along with that and the new toliers were installed but, of course, they don't work as it the Geberit carrier. We are going to have to have someone remove these carriers from the walls and install toliets with the tanks. So save yourself some money and do not buy this product

Installed with Toto bowl and very happy. Then I tried to install the Omega 20 actuator plate but it was too big. After 2 hours of online research, I learned I need the Omega 60 actuator plate that costs $340 - $600, depending on model selected! Oh, also the frame, another $120!!! There had been no hint of this in either the product information nor the product technical details.Buy the 111.798.001.0 for 2x4 walls. The actuator plate comes with kit, $42.Very frustrating and expensive install. Geberit website not very helpful. Wish I could replace it, but tearing it out of the wall would be expensive too. I feel like I have just had $600 stolen out of my wallet.

I do like how my new bathroom ended up, but installing this tank was difficult for my contractor who hadn't installed one before. Some of the instructions aren't perfectly clear and rely entirely on illustrations rather than writing, perhaps to facilitate sales in multiple countries. Also, while the height is adjustable, it could use more range in the low end. The contractor had to put the feet of the frame on a new sill plate to anchor it securely, and even at its lowest setting the toilet ended up about an inch higher than I would have liked.
