On the back side of the latch there are two steel pins that will break the glass. I used a grinder and removed them from mine then hit the spots with black primer to keep from rusting. Other then that it is a great item.

exactly like factory, just without the leer logo. Handle is actually metal instead of some cheap plastic knock off thing i was expecting. 1:1 design so it works with lock actuator kit also

For the price it's a perfect replacement. Lock mechanism works fine with a spray of WD 40. Issue that I ran into was this version has location pins that protrude through the glass and my canopy doesn't. Just grind them off if it doesn't match.

My camper window lock I had fell apart. Called several locksmiths but no one could find the parts. Amazon had this window lock and it came quickly and properly packaged. The new lock fit exactly. Fairly easy to install. Now I can lock things up.
