NOTE:
There are a variety of things that can happen that will damage the oil return hose. The high heat of the engine is usually one of the main things that will lead to this hose becoming damaged. The hose can fail at crimp locations or the rubber portion can break down over time. Taking the time to inspect this hose on a regular basis will help you to spot any repair issues that are present early on, which will reduce the damage it does to the engine.

Much like the other reviews, putting this thing in my 2001 325i required bending it a bit to get the right orientation and just so I was able to get more room to do so I had to remove the oil filter cap. It definitely doesn’t go in easy so that’s why I made it 4 stars.

VANOS line works great. There were some reviews saying that it is built incorrectly, but this line fits just right.

Unfortunately this part did not fit my Z4. It is a bit too long, but not enough that you can bend the hose to fit. This means that once it's installed, it gets in the way of the engine manifold or the oil filter lid. I had to reinstall my old hose.

It fits but barely. The new line is almost an inch longer and very stiff so getting it in place was very frustating. However once the banjo bolts were tightened it looks good and i dont have any leaks yet. 04 325ci
