They’re pretty cool, didn’t realize they turned white while running and they turn amber when the turn signals on. Doesn’t even hyper flash

These 1157 bulbs fit the turn signals in the front of an Ioniq 5 (for 2022+ SE and 2023+ SEL). Replacement is fairly easy on the Ioniq and it gave no hyperflash and no error with the onboard computer. The brightness is good, as expected and it is much improved from the incandescent bulbs that the EV came with. You can find a full step-by-step guide with pics on the Ioniq 5 part of the Ioniq Forum. I'm using these to replace the stock front 1157 turn signals on a 2023 IONIQ 5 SEL. As other have mentioned, they fit and work perfectly. They are a good amber color and are brighter than the stock bulbs. No error messages. No hyperflash.I cannot comment on durability or lifespan yet, since I just got them. But they appear well made so I hope they will last for years.

I was skeptical as there are no mention of having built in resistors. I have the resistors to put inline with the flashing hot wire, but the harness is so dang tight and short, i didn't even bother. I will probably return these as they hyperflashed on my toyota fj cruiser, which should be the same as a tacoma so whover said they work on a tacoma, i guess they like the super fast turn signal lol. So this was a dissapointment. The bulb quality itself looks good and they are bright. They are sort of long too so be careful if you have a small turn signal housing. Otherwise these fit and worked well, too bad they hyperflashed.Update: bought the LED flasher and that allowed me to keep these, save me time from having to return these.

I bought this brand of lights to replace all my old LED turn singals (both front and the back). I changed the back lights first and tested them one at a time, they both work great without any issue. I did the front passenger light next and it also worked great with no issues. For some reason, once I did the front driver side light it only flashes normally for a couple seconds then they begin back to hyper-flashing. Sometimes it lasts longer and sometimes it begins hyper-flashing after only a second. It’s not consistent and I’m not sure why it didn’t work. I don’t have any other malfunctioning lights.

Yes, easy to install, and plenty bright enough when functioning correctly. Works fine as a DRL, bit when switched to turnsignal function the blinker light is almost not visible. If left on turnsignal mode for a couple of minutes goes into Hyperflash, not supposed to do that with a resistor built in.
