It did work well with very little run out, always a little tight but after a few uses it locked up solid and can't get to free up, unfortunately it's out of the return window. Would nor purchase again

I am getting less than .001" run out with this chuck in my Bridgeport. That's not bad considering the price point of this. It has an excellent grip, no noticable chatter caused from this. It'll be a nice addition to my mill when countersinking, drilling and tapping multiple tools in one location.

The R8 shaft fit smoothly and tightened easily. I checked the spindle of my mill and it showed near zero runout. I also checked the runout of the exterior surface of the chuck and was mildly surprised that it showed essentially the same minimal runout as the spindle. I tried several drills and found .003" to "lots" of runout. The runout moved when I loosen the chuck and rotated the drills, so it seems like most if not all of the runout is in the drills and not the chuck. I am very satisfied with this chuck and only regret that I don't have any shaft straight enough to measure the chuck's actual accuracy.

The only complaint is the stiffness of open and close. Great function for my smallest of precise drills

This is the second chuck like this I have used on my benchtop milling machine. The chuck fits well and functions like it should. It has pretty good concentricity (not as good as a collet, obviously). I like it and it came in an awesome plastic tube to keep it from greasing up everything it touches.

I found this keyless R8 chuck to be an affordable solution having very little run out on my machine. It is significantly better than the chuck that came with the mill. Great accuracy and a great price. Tooling is extremely expensive so it's nice when you find something accurate for a more affordable price. I'd say, if this is what you need, give it a try and see if it works out for you like it did for me.

I’ve used this on my Bridgeport and couldn’t be happier with the results. I chucked up a dowel to test concentricity, it was about 2 tenths out which is very impressive. I think the description said within .003, I’m getting .0002.
