My NuTone CV653 whole house vac is from 1996. Finally died (brushes wore out and commutator very worn). Found this part. Identical to my old part. Took 20 minutes to remove the vac, take apart, install the new part and reattach to the wall. Quieter than my old motor and power back!Exact replacement n part, thank you.
