A bunch of purple tinsel, length seems about right. Probably not the nicest tinsel ever made, but the price is right, and it looks pretty good on our Christmas float.

Purchased to deter squirrels from climbing my pergolas to jump on the bird feeds. Working well for the finch and cardinal feeders, but not the woodpecker suet feeder. My wife prefers the black over silver tinsel, so will purchase again.
