When we started this project, we tried to design a structure that can be freely combined.The difference from the classic fruit bowl is that the LOUIE SILNA fruit bowl can be used as a fruit bowl when serving guests, or as a salad bowl and serving plate at ordinary times. It all depends on the usage scenario and user's needs.

This large and shiny gold bowl with a hammered design arrived with a heavy black film of dirt type residue inside that kept leaving black fingerprint marks everywhere. Which required me to handwash it thoroughly before I could use it.When I went to clean the bowl and looked up the care instructions, I noticed that they are contradictory. As this bowl is listed as both as “dishwasher safe” but it also says “handwash only.”Once I noticed that discrepancy. I opted to use this bowl for decorative purposes only for health concerns as I was not sure what else might be inaccurate regarding this bowl.Finally, as I was browsing at my local home décor store recently, I found similar large bowls with the same shiny hammered design in gold and another in silver that retailed for half the price of this bowl.So, overall, although this bowl appears attractive at first glance. I would not confidently recommend it as it arrived dirty with a black film inside. It has multiple care instructions that are the opposite of one another, and the retail price is considerably higher than other bowls that are similar.

This bowl is beautiful, gold tone is shiny and bright! It’s great for decorating, it’s great for entertaining. It’s even more beautiful in person, pictures definitely do not do this bowl justice. I plan to add puffy moss to this bowl and use it as a center piece. 5-stars, highly recommend!

This 9.8" Large Fruit Bowl by LOUIE SILNA brings a clean, slightly understated elegance to a room without feeling overdesigned. The gold finish has a muted luster that leans more tasteful than flashy, and the size is generous enough to actually hold a decent spread of fruit or decorative items without dominating a table. It feels sturdy in hand — not too heavy, but with enough weight that it doesn't slide around easily, which is pretty necessary when used on a glass or polished surface. I plan to add small rubber pads underneath to make it a bit more secure and ensure no sliding at allFunctionally, it holds up well for both display and day-to-day use. The wide, shallow shape prevents bruising softer fruits like peaches or plums, and it’s easy enough to wipe down without worrying about scratching or tarnishing right away. While it’s not the centerpiece of the room, it does a good job quietly elevating the space and matching almost any decor for any room.I think this piece balances simplicity and refinement while still being functional and useful without making too loud a statement. I would recommend.

This is a really bright and metallic fruit bowl formed from a ceramic material. It’s a wonderful decorative bowl that I like using as a catch-all bowl by the front foyer. It can also be used as a pot pourri bowl or a plant bowl for succulents. The bowl is well made and looks like metal with a sheen. Absolutely beautiful and would repurchase!
