I am not sure how good these strings are! I am no musician and the instructions are not clear enough for me to install these strings, so the strings are still in the box.

I'm building an octave strung tenor. I really have had mixed results with Aquila strings. My RED C string has broken and the Nylgut are thick. As is this C string.I swapped in a wound C from another manufacturer and a G string also leaving me looking for a wound E for an octave string...So far everything seems fine. But I won't likely buy this set again just to get 2 strings...I may have to.And I already have. This works too well. Building a second..The A2 string has deteriorated really fast.... My Low G and Wound C are still ok D'addario.. The wound C perfect GHS... Oh yeah.. It's an A3 btw and I'm just gonna use a G string. Sourcing the c5... Maybe an E from a classical? Hate to have to constantly buy this setI don't regret this build at all. ONCE I FIND A SUITABLE C5 I'll never buy these again. Aquila strings are good.. Their wounds are not.

I purchased this set for the low A wound string. I HATE the red plastic strings Aquila is now sending with the tenor uke 6 string sets.

Nice strings, not sure what was on my lili'u before but these feel a bit more stiff and took some getting used to. nice sound and tunes easy
