This was missing parts but the seller resolved quickly. The parts that were included are of good quality so i have no issues recommending this. Just be sure to check the contents.

I use these for tapping holes in 3D printed items, latest was a mounting adapter for several electronic boards, worked fine. Markings on the taps were illegible, managed to find the correct sizes but it took a bit of measuring and comparing with fasteners. Good functional value for the price. Only use so far has been in plastic, no idea of performance in harder materials. Might be wise to get spares if doing a lot of metal work.

Well these things are admittedly a price point item, and since a higher quality set of (really small) metric taps was not needed to chase a few threads, these worked fine. Didn’t need the two smaller sizes, and didn’t really want to shell out the nearly $60 it would have cost from industrial supplier for two taps. Got the job done with these, and now they’re available should the need ever arise again. I’d take it really easy with these, unless you’re looking to break off a tap. 4 stars, since these are a little crooked, all of them. Didn’t like the heat treating I’d say.

The set is nice and useful, but at this size it is really easy to break the taps when tapping by hand. So either get extra taps, have great hand dexterity, or tap from a press.

I have all kinds of tap wrenches to use with my considerable collection of taps, bottoming, plug, you name it - I have it.I love my taps and I have to say that this style of tap wrench is my number one favorite. Self-centering and it gives me so much feeling I can tell when a tap is about to break, but this wrench helps me feel when it's about to happen so I break fewer taps as a result.Highly recommended
