Replacemet part for Kohler 12 584 04-S on 2003 craftsman lt2000. The kill switch tab didn't work. Defective part.Delay on shipping, plus didn't work. If you order, do or way ahead of time, possible problems getting your mower ready before the season starts.

I use an Exmark Viking 36" mower w/Kohler CV12.5 motor. Mower is 31+ years old. Every 4-5 years, the Kohler will start sputtering and die when it gets hot and cutting thick grass. This reminds me that it's time to replace the ignition coil. For under $20 and in less than 30 minutes, I can install a new coil and have the Exmark running like new again. I like to keep a spare coil available just for these occasions. This coil fit perfectly and works great.

$15 part to the rescue!! After 3 weeks my husband was ready to call time of death on our 25+ year old inherited John Deere riding mower. He's been throwing money at it every year the last 4-5 years. Brainstorm led to a search for this part... At $15 and next day delivery was worth a shot.Ordered around 7 pm Thursday, it arrived around 6:30 pm Friday. Before 7 pm it was installed, mower fired right up and our lawn was no longer looking like a pasture! Super easy install and a great price.He. He probably will invest in a new mower soon, but at least we are not under pressure to spend a couple thousand for the moment.
