These were perfect to replace old, broken or missing connectors . They are the 3 penny size too. They don't pop off once they are pressed or tapped into place at all.I read a lot of reviews trying to find the right ones. I've never heard of using zip ties to hold these together with the connectors and figured if it requires zip ties, they really shouldn't be selling it to start with. I've never needed them for these shelves. Ever. Either you're assembling it wrong or you bought a very poorly made product.I would definitely recommend buying these for the old 3 penny shelves and will be buying more in the future.

Found some wire snap grid shelving at a thrift store and needed more connectors to put it together. Since it's from a thrift store I don't know the brand of the shelving but from the listing pictures I compared these connectors to the few I had and took a chance. These turned out to be the same size and work perfectly.The only drawback to this product is that a four-cube assembly needs 18 connectors total, and this is only a set of 12. I had a few from the thrift store, so I'm just one connector short now - which I'll deal with instead of buying another set. This isn't a flaw of the product, but rather just a heads up that it's an odd number of connectors depending on what you intend to use them for.
