Bought the proto cause I wanted something close as to my modified rachet I was using for scaffolding, proto rachet is certainly durable and has a great weight and feel in the hands, was able to shear off old rusted bolts on a right angle clamps several times. Using a cheater bar of course, rachet is still functioning like it's supossed too. The socket is a deep socket. So I also recommend keeping a 7/8's speed rachet on you for tight spacesThen again most rachets dont fit. Again great heavy duty, durable rachet. Definitely would recommend to anyone in scaffolding.

this Stanley proto 1/2” x 7/8”deep socket with set pen is well built, easy to handle/use in those precarious moments. Stable grip. Nice! Worth every penny.
